Pikes Peak and Manitou Avenue

Yesterday afternoon, a friend and I made the leisurely and scenic drive up the Pikes Peak Highway. Before the adventure, I filled up my gas tank at the Sinclair on Manitou Avenue, and I ventured just a short way along the road to capture this great view of Pikes Peak. That traffic light is the junction between Manitou Avenue and Crystal Park Road, and if you like pizza, Savelli's (right there on the corner) is pretty good in my opinion!
